Hey y'all! Welcome to Cooking with a ChemE!

Raised around a family who was always in the kitchen, it's no question that I've always loved food. Growing up on Long Island, New York, I've always had access to amazing ingredients and restaurants. Just ask my friends- I *really* love food.
I started Cooking with a ChemE during the summer of 2019. While completing a Chemical Engineering internship in Richmond, Virginia, I needed to learn how to cook for myself. I worked to expand my skills, from Italian rice balls to Mexican Churros! Cooking with a ChemE provided me an outlet to share all that I was learning and trying, whether that be recipes or restaurants! Nothing makes me happier than sharing food with others...food is the gateway to the heart and soul!

Since then, I have graduated from Virginia Tech in May 2021 (Go Hokies) and have plans to move to West Virginia. While I am no longer a student in a classroom, I still serve as a student of the kitchen and culinary world. Join me as I continue my journey of continuously finding new recipes and restaurants, as well as exploring the flavors of life!
